I was going gaga last night as I watched the perfectly polished stars like Lupita Nyong’o
and Olivia Wilde
work the red carpet with such poise and elegance. From hair to makeup, clothing to shoes, jewelry to accessories, their look was flawless head to toe. Unfortunately, I slightly cringed at the sight of Jennifer Lawrence
and Lena Dunham’s ill-fitting strapless gown of sunshine.
I suppose that no award show is complete without a few of those “What were you thinking” moments. Definitely not my cup of tea, but to each his own.
Moving forward: since I have been on board with The White Tea Med Spa, my eyes have been opened to the amazing results that VelaShape and Endermologie deliver. I have learned so much about these treatments that I am shocked to hear of celebrities who do not use them for a little extra help maintaining their physique. That being said, you have to give props to those amazing stylists that dress their clients in those oh-so-figure-flattering gowns. It’s amazing what the right cut, shape, and material can do! Fashion trends aside, my eyes usually head straight to the makeup. And guess what I saw? Smoke! A lot of smoke! I am thrilled to bring your attention to this reoccurring trend popping up all over the red carpet: the smokey eye. It is one of my favorite go-to evening looks, and can easily be yours, too!
