Celebrity Status

Have you ever looked at celebrities, and thought, “How do they look so perfect?”

The answer to that is not a simple one. As I’m sure you are all aware, most celebrities have an entire glam squad that keep them looking in tip top shape (which keeps us, as onlookers, wiping the drool from our mouths.)

What if I told you that their appearance was within reach for you- yes you!! What if I armed you with the know-how to recreate a celebrities’ look? Well today is your lucky day because I am here to do just that!

Khloe Kardashian’s flawless face has been the talk of many social circles, and the envy of woman all over the world. Take a look at one of her signature styles and follow my steps to mirror this beauty! Note: Following these guidelines will not magically turn you into Khloe Kardashian. Simply use this face design for inspiration, and make it your own!

1)      Apply shadow base on the entire eye from below the brow bone to the root of the lashes.

My pick: Lancome Aquatique Shadow base

2)      Use a black, smudge proof eyeliner in between the upper lashes to create a defined eye and a fuller lash line. The most effective angle to reach this is from the underside of the lashes.

My pick: Nars larger than life long wear pencil

3)      With your finger tip, apply a bright, metallic, champagne eye shadow on the lid and underneath the lower lash line, focusing on the inner corners near the tear ducts.

My pick: Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Shadow #9

4)      Use a fluffy eye shadow blending brush to lightly apply some blush on the outer corner of the crease, being careful not to go too far on the lid or too far towards the brow.

My pick: Chanel Joues Contraste in Nude

5)      Line the inner rim (waterline) of the lower lash line  with a copper eyeliner pencil to really make your eyes pop!

6)      Finish off with two coats of your favorite volumizing mascara.

My pick: L’Oreal Voluminous

1)      Line lips with a nude lip pencil. Be sure to use the side of the pencil instead of the point, and remember to feather the line towards the center of the lip to create a more natural look.

My pick: Bobbi Brown Lip Liner in Beige

2)      Apply one coat of a long wear, nude lipstick. Blot. Repeat.

My pick: Dior Rouge Dior Lip Color in Angelique Beige

3)      Choose a sheer lip gloss with high shine and place in the center of your pout. Lip gloss will likely be the first thing to come off, so always put in your purse for touch-ups.

My pick: Giorgio Armani Flash Lacquer in #103

1)      Get a brightening facial to give your skin an immediate glow and restore a smooth texture. If you neglect the health of your skin, caking on the makeup will only make matters worse.

My pick: Oxygen facial at The White Tea Med Spa. Book an appointment here.

2)      Apply a lightweight, radiant foundation starting in the center of the face, blending outward.

My pick: Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

3)      Set using a brightening powder with a large, fluffy brush to give longer wear to the foundation and create a candlelit sheen.

My pick: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder

4)      Apply a nude blush right below the cheek bones to create a slender, and lightly contoured face. Blend the product from the center of the ear towards the corner of the lip, stopping at the iris.

My pick: Chanel Joues Contraste in Nude
